Guitar Lessons

Julianna Cobb is an award-winning guitarist. She began her music training at the age of seven and has been trained on the piano, guitar, and bass guitar.  As a guitarist, Julianna studied under and regularly performed with the late master musician Harry Dubose. Julianna has performed for well-known musicians Morihiko Nakahara, conductor of the South Carolina Philharmonic, and Mark Bryan, guitarist for Hootie and the Blowfish, among others. She was the winner of the 2012 Kershaw County’s Got Talent competition and appeared and performed on live television. She also performed as a lead guitarist and bassist of the Columbia College jazz ensemble for four years.

As an instructor, Julianna will teach your student to read sheet music and chord progressions. The student will learn the anatomy of the guitar, how to tune the guitar, and how to play the guitar. Julianna will personally create lesson plans around your student based on the student's ability and music tastes.
